Crystal Turns 9!!!! What is a mom to do?

Hey sorry I am a little late on this.. I have been slacking on the blog.. This is the third time I have attempted to get this done..
Crystal turned 9 on the 22nd.. She had such a great day and loved that we had a storm that night because it brought back memories for Joe and I of the night she was born.. Just like 9 years ealier it was a great sunny day when we went into the hospital at 5 in the evening. several hours later we could here the wind wisteling and new it was a bad storm.. The next morning Joe went to find his family who were on their way to the hospital and when he started home he realized the storm had froze up his breaks.. It took The family 2 hours to travel the 25 miles to come see Crystal.. Flash forwad 9 years and some hours and we are sitting at the table for crystals birthday dinner. We could hear the wind going crazy outside and the snow had started, then the power went out..I don't recall if the power at the hospital went out when crystal was born, since they have generators and I sleep for a couple hours after I got an epideral. She went to school the next morning and was telling everyone about the two storms. Cryatal had her first all friend party on the 24th and all I have to say about that is eight 9 year old girls are loud.. We had a party on the 25th with some family friends.. I told her she was SO spoiled this year with three parties and joked that she didn't need another party till she is 12 but she didn't like that idea.. She is an amazing girl.. She is so sweet and loving to all she meets.. She is So social and loves being in front of a group of people. She is trying so hard to be grown up and independant..

Happy 6th Birthday Clayton!!!

Today my Little Man turnes 6. He is such a great kid and loves so many things. He is so excited to start kindergaten in a month and wants to do everything his dad does..

We finally got a new bed.. But before we could say goodbye to the old one the kids used it in the living room as a trampoline for a couple days then had a "campout" on it for family pizza and movie night.. James LOVES out new bed.
Crystal had her last day of school and is excited for third grade but will miss her teacher.

and finally, after a year of looking and waiting for the store to have enough in stock when we go to Billings(95 miles away). I took the boys by myself and went when we knew they had enough in stock.. It was hard work loading the 22 boxes onto the cart then into the truck then into the house myself.. I am so excited for when it is all installed.. I hate having carpet in my dining room and the carpet that is in here is NOT a carpet that is good for a family.. it is light colored and stains really easily.. It was fine for the single elderly lady that owned the house beforebut doesn't work well for our family.. The kitchen flooring is atleast 15 years old and needing replaced as well. So we are putting the bamboo flooring in the kitchen,living room and dining room.. So excited. We will be changing out some vents also.. I will post before and after pictures when we finish.. Oh ya the boards on the right of the flooring are some toung and grove planks that we will be putting up on the wall in the boys room.. Lots of projects to do..

HE GRADUATED

yup you heard it right. Clayton just graduated from pre-school and is super excited about going to kindergarten(all day). We meet with his teacher tomorow.. He can't wait for summer to go camping and swimming and for it all to be over and be in Kindergarten. He is so ready.. He was sitting today working in a kindergaren work book I had gotten for him. Whe I asked what he was doing he replied " I have to get through the whole alphabet before school starts"... I love this boy and am sad that he will be leaving me for the whole day, guess I better get in some snuggle time before school starts..

Joe turns 33!!!

Yesterday My amazing husband turned 33.. We had a busy day and did an us only party that was slid in between soccer and bedtime.. I didn't get any pictures of him opening presents or eating cake so older pictures will have to do.. We are so blessed to have him in our lives he is an amazing husband and father.. I will add more pictures later this is the only one that would upload having issues..

Sorry it took so long every time I tried to upload the pictures it would freeze the Internet.. Crystal Turned 8 on the 22nd and was baptised by Joe on the 27th. My sister made Crystals cake for after her baptism. It has her favorite scripture on written on it.. I made her Birthday cake and she loved them both.. We are so proud of Crystal and her choices she makes..

Crystal turns 8 :)

Crystal turns 8 today. This is a day she has been so excited for.. She will be baptised on Sunday and get to go to Activity girls tomorrow.. She is SO excited to be 8. She is such a wonderful girl. She loves helping and playing with her brothers. She is "moms twin". She loves school and church and learning.. She is so sweet hearted and loves everyone she meets instantly.. She is my love.... Happy Birthday little girl...
