Happy Birthday Joe

So this is a little late, but better late then never.. Joe had his Birthday on Wednesday. Because he and James Birthday are only one week apart we are having a party on Saturday for them both.. He requested Lasagna for his dinner so I spent the afternoon making his favorite dish.. It was delicious.. I am so grateful for Joe in our lives. He is an amazing husband and Father.. He is such a great guy. I am excited to be celebrating 10 years of marriage to him this year. Happy Birthday Honey..

Crystal has in the last 4 days pulled 3 teeth all by HERSELF.. She didn't want anyone to help her she was so excited to be all grownup and doing it alone...

So in the last month, I had strep-throat, now a bad sinus infection with the possibility of strep, and Joe is now the lucky recipient of Strep throat(did not get it from me..) I think I have met my med. deductible with the two times I have been in. The kids are well in school. Crystal turned 7 yesterday. She is so excited to be "grown up".. She continues to do well in school and LOVES being able to go. She is excited because she has PERFECT attendance.. Clayton is LOVING pre-school, he loves learning and getting new friends. James has been crawling for about 4 weeks now and pulls himself up on everything. This week he has started to walk along things.. I was called as a nursery leader last month and am enjoying it more then I thought I would.. The garage is coming along, There are two walls and the celling that are done(with the exception of paint). Soon we have a completed garage.. YAAAAAY We are working hard and keeping busy we have all done the rounds with the dentist this past month and are now done for 6 months, next is is on to eye appointment's and Clayton appointment in April with the Ped. Ortho. Surgeon.. Hoping things are looking good by then..

Just a little update

I have decided that I am in LOVE with my belated Christmas gift. My new Digital Canon Rebel XSI. We went sledding the other day and I got the best pictures with my new zoom lens and continuous shot. We had a great Christmas. We were in Lovell with all the Emmett's. Great times we had...My washer and Dryer have been LOUD for a while and I decided to get them fixed. So I am a week without a washer or dryer. The washer is now fixed but we are still waiting on a part for the dryer. James has been crawling for several week now and has decided that he likes to ride the kids horse. He has also decided that pulling himself up next to the toy box, couch and anyone who happens to be sitting in a chair or laying on the floor. He is a joy... He gets into anything that is lower then 2 feet. Crystal Loves her cute outfit her Aunt made her for Christmas. She had to wear it the first Sunday after Christmas.

So I guess I am averaging 1 blog per month.. Hope everyone has a Happy New Year. We have been busy with school, work and Church. We had a wonderful Christmas in Lovell with the Emmett's. Everyone was there and that was really nice... We have been thinking of all the projects we could do when the weather starts to heat up. If only money was as abundant as our ideas are.

A little boy in Clayton's pre-school brought a horse for show and tell. All the kids got a ride.

James is into everything. He is my biggest helper when it comes to throwing things out of baskets!

How they love their Great Grandma C.

This was our Christmas tree. We were all ready to head to the mountain when Joe was told that the College was selling trees for $10, Well the permit to cut one is $8 then a two hour trip to and from the mountain. My cheap won out.. So We went and we "hunted" for a tree that wasn't already sold.. It was fun, and the kids were able to make it to their primary activity.

Over Thanksgiving we went down to Mom and Dad's. While Dad was having back surgery Joe and I remodeled his bathroom that was in need of a remodel. It has been lime green for 20+ years. It took some serious primer that was very toxic, but it covered the lime green oil based paint. We also put in a vanity and medicine cabinet and removed the carpet and put down laminate tiles.
Crystal won this frog "froga froga" at school right before Thanksgiving.
The kids Favorite thing to do with Grandma. Making Pizza and Cinnamon rolls.. Clayton got a well needed hair cut from Joe after Crystal tried her hand at cutting other people hair. It wasn't to bad.All the boys after Clayton's hair cut.

We went to the annual parade of lights It was really cold. The wind was blowing and the snow was gently falling. It was magical. And one of the best things we got a parking spot within 1/4 block of the parade route so we could quickly return to warmth.

Just a little review of my birthday.. Ugh 30 oh well there's nothing that I can about it. I spent Saturday morning in Cody and got my hair cut, She cut it shorter then I asked, but it's cute and my hair grows fast. I got a hand held sander. I love it. I have 5 projects waiting to be done. My cake was half chocolate Bavarian cream filled, half white with raspberry filling. It was AMAZING. Clayton picked out the matching sweaters for the boys.

We have had a great weekend.
